Session 6 and 7

Sorry for the lack of blog posts mid day today. We checked out of our hotel this morning and I was without quick access to the computer.

Kayla Schnars had a big 200 Back and finished with a 2:12.60, improving her time on the All Time Top 5 list. Tonight she did a 100 time trial and was SO CLOSE to going under a minute.

Kristin Taylor had a big prelim 200 fly with a 2:13.63, and dropped it even further to a 2:12.97, good enough for 2nd on the All Time Top 5. List.

The final race of the 400 Free Relay provided some great excitement with the team of Britt Rehrig, Kaitlyn Druby, Carley Nitchie, and Kristen Capretti finishing with a time of 3:39.03.

Fun story: around noon today Kaitlyn Druby asked: "Can I please swim in the relay, I can go 56." She finished with a split of 55.48. EXCELLENT SWIM, and that is what conference swims are made of!

Britt Rehrig's lead off swim of 52.48 is the new LHU school record in the 100 Free. This was the second oldest record on the books, set in 2006. Super exciting to see and a fun way to end the 2013 PSAC Meet!

Taco Bell and McDonalds for dinner, and as you would expect nearly everyone is sleeping off the weekend on the hydride home.

Big shout out to HavenNation that showed up to our meet. It was awesome to see the dedicated parents waiting in line for hours to see their daughters, and we had a HUGE amount of Alumni show up for the meet as well. Your support was great, and you were all rock stars in the stands. THANK YOU ALL!

NCAA entries are due tomorrow by 5pm, and we'll know if we're headed to Birmingham on Tuesday night/Wednesday night. Exciting and nerve wracking time of the year for sure. One more time...GO HAVEN !
